Bristol Downtown Community Partnership is hosting an informational meeting at Holley Hall to discuss the future of our organization, and to give YOU - the folks who live, work and play in the village - a chance to get to know us and get involved in keeping Bristol a vibrant place.
Bristol is one of 24 Designated Downtowns in Vermont which gives our community access to some special resources (grants & tax credits), training and services. Those are used for improvements in four areas: Downtown Design & Historic Preservation, Community & Economic Development, Marketing & Promotions (events), and Organization (volunteers, collaborations, and fundraising to support the designated downtown non-profit organization).
Within those four areas, there are A LOT of possible projects! Walking/biking paths and outdoor recreation, small business success, and community building are high on the list. At this meeting we're hoping to hear more of your ideas and feedback, find interested Board and project team members, and expand our organization to include the broader community. Come hear what we are about and join us in making Bristol an active, growing place!
The more, the merrier - please bring along a friend. It takes lots of enthusiastic hands and hearts to make great things happen.
