May selection: Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Our book group meets every third Wednesday at 6:30 pm at the Guilford Free Library. New members are welcome. Our next meeting is scheduled for May 20. Copies of the book are available at the library. Call 257-4603.

NPR's book reviewer, Jennifer Reese, describes Americanah as a "rich and gloriously detailed tapestry." Adichie emigrated from Nigeria and shares her insightful observations of American culture through her irresistible character, Ifemelu.
