A Hyde Park resident asked us to answer two questions on the Forum: "Will the solar cover all Hyde Park residents or just the village? Will all Hyde Park residents vote or just village residents."
Hyde Park will serve all Hyde Park customers. Should we receive the Clean Energy Development Fund grant, we will have the money to develop and implement a Community Solar Rate that would allow Hyde Park Electric customers who are currently unable to benefit from net metering to be able to do so. Only village residents on the grand list and eligible may vote. Hope to see all Hyde Park Electric customers at this important on April 21, 6 p.m. at the Town & Village Community Room.

The legal voters of the Village of Hyde Park are hereby notified and warned that voting for one Australian ballot article will be held on May 5, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Village Office. The Village Annual Meeting commences at 7:00 p.m. on May 5th at Hyde Park Elementary School.
The Australian ballot for Article 12 reads as follows: Shall general obligation bonds for the Village of Hyde Park in an amount not to exceed three-million dollars ($3,000,000) payable out of Electric Department revenue, be issued, subject to Public Service Board approval, for the purpose of constructing a one megawatt (1MW) solar generation facility, to be located within the Town of Hyde Park?
