Theatre Kavanah Brings Jewish Plays Contest to South Burlington
Three plays enter, one play leaves! Theatre Kavanah is once again partnering with NYC's Jewish Plays Project (JPP) to bring the best of new Jewish theater to Vermont. Along with five other organizations throughout the country, Burlington's Theatre Kavanah will host a live contest in which audience members will get to vote for one of three plays via text (think "American Idol" meets live theatre!). Topnotch Vermont actors. Live music. A little nosh. Check out how cultures clash in plays set in Northern Ireland, Texas, and Israel. Due to adult content and language, this show is recommended for ages 14+.
Sunday, April 19, at 2:00 p.m.
Monday, April 20, at 7:00 p.m.
Temple Sinai, 500 Swift, South Burlington.
Doors open 30 minutes before showtime for food, music, and schmoozing.
