The Nature Museum at Grafton, in partnership with the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum, is proud to present “Owls of Vermont”. This program focuses on these amazing raptors’ nocturnal adventures. We’ll explore the many species that live in Vermont and examine the adaptations that make these owls the supreme hunters of the night. Owl expert Mike Clough of the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum will bring live owls, touchable artifacts, and interactive demonstrations to make this an unforgettable experience for owl lovers of all ages.
This engaging presentation will be held at Phelps Barn at the Grafton Inn in Grafton, Vermont on Saturday, April 25th at 10:30 AM. This family program is presented alongside The Nature Museum’s week of Earth Day camps during local schools’ April vacation breaks. The Nature Museum is dedicated to supporting the innate sense of wonder in children, and kids get in for free at this amazing owl event! After the live owl program, take a short walk down the road with Mike Clough to The Nature Museum. Conclude your family's morning at our Earth Day Party and explore the Museum's interactive exhibits, educational mounts, and activities. Plus enjoy a piece of Earth Day cake!
