May Festival on the Town Green May 9th 1pm-4pm
(If rain, at the Town Hall~78 North Street)

The New Haven Events Department is happy to be hosting a celebration of all things Spring! There will be live music, Maypole dancing, storytelling and songs, a plant swap & sale, baby animals, homemade hand~crank ice cream station, quick and creative family arts & craft activities to make and take, Shriner Clowns, and new this year is a Spring Dessert Contest!
All types and kinds of desserts welcome. Go traditional or get creative, but make sure to enter!

The winner of the Spring Dessert Contest will be chosen by People's Choice~ $2 buys a sample of all the desserts, and then you vote for your favorite! The winner is the proud title holder for the year, complete with full bragging rights and PR.
As a bonus, they get their picture taken with the town's famous "Pie Tin" trophy, and their name will be added to it for posterity!
