Wheelock Proposed Flood Hazard Regulation Public Hearing

Past event
May 5, 2015, 7 PM

The Wheelock Planning Commission is holding a public hearing on the proposed Flood Hazard Regulations for the Town of Wheelock on May 5th, 7:00 pm at the town hall. Please alert your neighbors and plan on attending this meeting. Look for more details posted around the town and in the Caledonian Record this weekend. This is another step forward in obtaining membership in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and securing state and federal aid money in the event of major storm damage. Copies of the regulation are available at the town clerk’s office or I would be happy to email you a copy. You can request an emailed copy from either Doug (wheelocktown@gmail.com) or myself (rogdekett@hughes.net). You can also get a copy by going to Wheelock's page at the NVDA website. http://www.nvda.net/towns.php?town=17
Scroll down to Town Documents. Don't forget to ask for a map. There are several structures along the Miller's Run and the South Wheelock Branch that will be affected by these regulations. Thanks for getting the word out.
