Attention Birders - Save the Date for David Sibley June 26th.

Audubon Vermont is pleased to announce that David Sibley will speak at the Film House at Main Street Landing on the Burlington Waterfront, Friday, June 26 at 7pm, with a reception and book signing to follow. There is no charge for admission, but a $10 donation is suggested. Sibley is well known for his illustrated Sibley Guide to Birds, which became the fastest-selling bird book in history. His presentations and lectures attract hundreds of birders who are eager to meet America’s leading ornithologist/illustrator. Sibley will speak about “The Psychology of Bird Identification.” Using photos and drawings, he will demonstrate how we perceive the world around us, and how our brains both help and hinder our efforts at bird identification.
