Please join us at Maclure Library in Pittsford for the kick-off of our Armchair Traveler Series. Ideals and Realities: Three Years as a Peace Corp Volunteer in the Dominican Republic. Paul Kenyon's presentation will showcase the Dominican Republic, a Caribbean country on the island of Hispaniola. Paul will share his slides and talk about the country, the people and the realities of living and working in this vastly different culture. He will also share the specific work he did as a Peace Corp member, his experience as a volunteer and about the development in the third world in general. Arrive early to hear some of the music Paul came to love while living there.
