Discover two of southern Italy’s most beautiful (and uncrowded!) regions - Puglia and Basilicata. Roam the dramatic cave-city of Matera where the Passion of Christ was filmed. See the surprising alpine scenery of Italy's southern Dolomiti and the unique city of Alberbello , famous for its round-shaped dwellings called "trulli." Mix Italian "amore" with "trulli" and you are bound to come up with an "I love you truly" as a description of the sights of the rich and unique culture of this part of Italy.

This lecture/photo show is presented by Mary Sue Lyons, a member of the Vermont Italian Club, who has made several walking tours of the Italian countryside. She not only brings back wonderful memories of Italy but recipes from the cooking schools there that she continues to re-create at home in her kitchen.
