Just in time for gardening season, the Waterbury Public Library will be hosting woodchuck gardening guru, Ron Krupp on Thursday, May 7 at 6:30 PM at the Library’s temporary location at 30 Foundry St. in Waterbury.
Mr. Krupp will be discussing his new book, “The Woodchuck Returns to Gardening”, a sister-companion to his first book “The Woodchuck’s Guide to Gardening”. Just like in his first book, “The Woodchuck Returns…” is rooted in organic methods. The main part of the book travels into the world of vegetables, berries, and fruits. It includes stories, history, observations and information from the “Garden Patch.” There are many sketches and black and white photos, but this time, there are color paintings and photos in the new book. If you’re hungry for new garden inspirations, come and check it out!
