Tree Planting at the Refuge

Past event
May 2, 2015, 9 AM to 12 PM

Looking for an alternative Green Up Day project? Come help Green Up the Missisquoi NWR by helping plant trees along the banks of the Missisquoi River! We will be meeting at the refuge's Black Creek/Maquam Creek trail head parking lot on Route 78 just west of Swanton. From there we will carry volunteers across the river in a boat to plant trees along an eroding river bank on refuge land.

Please dress for the weather and bring snacks and water. This is an all weather event. For more information contact Ken Sturm at 802-868-4781 or Ken_Sturm@fws.gov
