Poetry Together
Are you a poet who writes alone who'd appreciate useful feedback? Are you a beginning poet who'd like encouragement? Have you never written a poem in your life but are intrigued? Join with other poets in a starter poetry group on Wednesday, April 15 at 7 at the Allen House on the VTC campus. (Brick building on the left as you enter the campus straight up from Route 66). Led by Ina Anderson.
We'll use a prompt to write on the spot and take courage to share our first drafts. We'll practice the art of supportive critique. We'll enjoy working together in good company. We'll take home poems to work on further. If there's sufficient interest, the group may continue meeting monthly.
Ina Anderson, a poet living in Sharon, has led poetry groups at the Writers' Center in White River Junction and at Baxter Library in Sharon. Some of her poems were published in the poetry group anthology, Perhaps it was the Pie.
