Listening Differently: Supporting individuals with voices, visions and other uncommon experiences

An estimated 1 in 10 individuals will hear voices at some point in their life. Despite its prevalence support for dealing with this experience is hard to come by and damaging misconceptions about those who hear voices are mainstream. The Hearing Voices Movement is working to change this by destigmatizing the experience of voice hearing and creating community supports for individuals living with the experience.

Join us as we explore the history of the hearing voices movement, consider the facts and figures and learn some basic strategies to support someone who is struggling with their experience of voices, visions and other uncommon experiences.
