Just a friendly reminder on this gorgeous Spring day that Green Up Day is less than three weeks away...Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 8:00 am -1:00 pm. This family friendly event is a great way to get involved in our community. By working together with our friends and neighbors, we can help keep Lincoln beautiful. You never know what you'll find on the side of the road, so keep your eyes open as prizes will be given for Biggest Find, Most Unique Find, and One Man's Trash Is Another Man's Treasure.
After roadside cleanup is completed, there will be a Volunteer Appreciation Picnic, Raffle, and a Kids Only Raffle where they will have a chance to win Razor A Kick Scooters (must be present to win raffle items). Bag pickup, bag drop-off, picnic and raffles will be held at the Lincoln Fire Station.
Some great items have been donated for the Volunteer Appreciation Raffle. Do you own a local business or are you crafty? There's still time to donate.
