It's National Library Week AND National Poetry Month! The Waterbury Public Library is very proud to be hosting Vermont's Poet Laureate, Sydney Lea, THIS Thursday, April 16 at 30 Foundry Street, to help us celebrate!
He will give us a preview, and be reading from his yet unpublished twelfth poetry volume, "No Doubt the Nameless", and his fourth collection of lyrical essays, "What's the Story? Short Takes on a Life Grown Long". Both collections of poems and essays will be published later this year. Other award-winning collections of his will be available for sale and signing.
Light refreshments will be available.
