It's the 45th anniversary of Vermont Green Up Day, and in Charlotte, we'll be accepting trash at the CCS Quonset Hut from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 2nd, and Sunday May 3rd from 9 a.m. to noon. This is a great opportunity to contribute in keeping our beautiful town safe and clean...it's tremendously satisfying. All you have to do it come to the CCS Quonset Hut during the hours indicated above, pick a road to clean, grab a bag, go out and clean up the roadside, and bring your trash back. Bags are available at the Quonset Hut, or you can pick them up 2 weeks in advance at the town hall, town library, the Old Brick Store, or Spear Street Corner Store.
