Two local, published poets, Martha Zweig and Merry Gangemi, will read from their work on Tuesday, April 21at 6:30 PM. Each poet will read for about 30 minutes.

Martha Zwieg’s poems have appeared in literary journals and magazines including The Beloit Poetry Journal, Boston Review, Conduit, Field, Gettysburg Review, Indiana Review, The Journal, The Kenyon Review, Literary Imagination, Manoa, Notre Dame Review, New Orleans Review, The North American Review, Northwest Review, Paris Review, The Progressive, Willow Springs and she is the author of three books of poetry.

Merry Gangemi’s work is found in the anthology: Beltane: Advancing to Zero and in Harrington Lesbian Fiction Quarterly, Journal of New Jersey Poets, Paterson Literary Review, Sinister Wisdom, Wisconsin Review and she won the SFSU Audre Lorde Creative Writing Award (poetry).
