Killington, VT – A Regional Concerns Meeting on the project listed below will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 beginning at 7:30 PM at the Killington Town Office located at 2706 River Road. The meeting will be held by the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) and Town of Killington.

Bridge replacement project:

• Killington BF 020-2(42) – US 4 Bridge #33 over the Ottauquechee River

The preferred alternative includes a full bridge replacement with traffic maintained on an offsite detour during a 10 day short term road closure.

The intent of the meeting is to provide an overview of this bridge replacement project to Town Officials, local residents and businesses, emergency services and other interested parties. There will be a review of the existing site conditions, proposed work, detour, and overall schedule followed by a question and answer period. Representatives from both VTrans and the Town of Killington will be available at the meeting to address public concerns about the projects.
