The Essex Planning Commission will have a regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, in the conference room at the Town Offices, 81 Main Street. The agenda includes the following items:

1. Public comments
2. Work session on the 2016 Town Plan. The Planning Commission will look at the latest drafts of the Introduction, Chapter 2 (Sense of Community), Chapter 3 (Sense of Place), and Chapter 4 (Serving the Community). All of the sections remain a work in progress (i.e. we still need to update many of the statistics). At Thursday’s meeting the Planning Commission will be asked if any content should be added or deleted. The Commission may also discuss any planning and development goals that should be added to the Plan. Input from the public is welcome.
