Earth and Beyond Science Fair at HPES - April 16, 6-7 Pm

We invite you to attend the PreK-Grade 2 "Earth and Beyond" Science Fair to be held at HPES from 6-7 PM on Thursday, April 16. What might you see?

*Preschool has been studying weather and climate, and children are making scientific observations to determined the effect of sunlight on the Earth's surface.
*Kindergarten has been working to identify patterns of what plant and animals need to survive, and constructing logical, factually-informed arguments about change and adaptation.
*2nd grade students are currently studying the solar system and engineering, and have designed their own Lego rovers in a project that integrates math, science, language arts, and more.

Hyde Park can be proud of the quality of science teaching and learning taking place at HPES. This event is open to the public, and we invite you to come see for yourself some of our students' many accomplishments!
