NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PEDDLER OR ITINERANT VENDORS ORDINANCE

The Fair Haven Selectboard is holding a public hearing on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Offices at 3 North Park Place, Fair Haven, VT to solicit public comment related to re-adopting with updated amendments the Town’s Peddler or Itinerant Vendors Ordinance.

Since an original, Selectboard signed version is not on file in the Town Clerk’s Office, the ordinance originally adopted on 12/12/2000 requires re-adoption. In addition to the action to re-adopt, several amendments are proposed to update the method of license processing.

The Ordinance is to prevent crime, promote public safety, convenience and maintain order in all public places in the Town and to prevent traffic congestion and unsafe traffic conditions on highways, along the sidewalks and in all public areas.
