I wanted to put out a reminder for ‘Real Thinking: The Foundation for Engaged, Flexible and Creative Kids,’ happening on Wednesday, April 8, 7pm. I encourage everyone to come hear Michael D’Aleo. He is a powerful and insightful speaker who will tackle the important question, ‘what IS thinking anyway’? D'Aleo, scientist, inventor, and frequent guest teacher at Lake Champlain Waldorf School, is currently teaching an Optics course to the 12th grade. From his presentation, parents will come away with new ideas for how to cultivate original and creative thinking in our children The talk will take place at the Lake Champlain Waldorf High School, 122 Bostwick Road, Shelburne. $8 at the door by donation.
