The Hartford Area Career and Technology Center’s Future Business Leaders of America Chapter represented the Upper Valley with pride at the 2015 Vermont State Conference. We had 30 students competing. Of these 30 we had 12 first place finishes and 6 second place finishes! These students now are qualified to compete at the FBLA National Conference in Chicago, Illinois in late June. This could mean 14 possible travelers.
The National FBLA Conference in late June is a 7-day trip with 4 days of competitive events, workshops relating to business topics, activities and ceremonies. The skills kids gain from this event are immeasurable.
The students going to the FBLA National Leadership Conference are seeking financial support / sponsorship to offset their costs for rooms, air travel, local transportation, conference fees, meals, city tours, and certification exams. We estimate this cost to average around $2000 per student. The cost prohibits some students in attending without financial assistance.

Please consider making a donation to HACTC Future Business Leaders of America to sponsor students in attending. You do not need to sponsor a student in entirety; it can be a portion of the total cost.
We would be happy to provide community service in exchange as well. Many hands makes light work.
