It's been a looooong, cold winter, hasn't it? Warmer weather is coming, so why not get out and celebrate with your friends and neighbors? The folks of Tinmouth Pond are holding a fund-raiser at the Tinmouth Community Center on April 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. The cooks will each be making his or her specialty (so you know everyone will be making the best dish!) and we will be having a Silent Auction of basket items, beautiful enlarged, framed photos of the pond and local area, maple syrup, just to name a few things. Note cards will be for sale and there will be a 50/50 raffle as well as a Guess the Number of Swedish Fish in the Jar. There will also be live music! So, plan on coming on the 18th for lots of great food and fun! All money raised will help the pond in its fight against the invasive species, Eurasian Water Milfoil!
