Introducing Slow Money Vermont

There will be a presentation about the Slow Money movement on Thursday, April 16 at 7 pm at the Charlotte Library. This event is co-sponsored by Transition Town Charlotte and the library.

Eric DeLuca, chair of Slow Money Vermont, will share how regular folks can get involved in investing in local food businesses. Slow Money Vermont is part of a national emerging network that aims to inform, inspire and connect individuals, businesses, philanthropists, and investors interested in building a sustainable local and regional food system and to catalyze new investment opportunities in the people, businesses and communities that contribute to a sustainable food economy. It's being organized through a task force connected to Vermont Farm to Plate. Visit www.facebook.com/slowmoneyvermont for general info, as well as registration details for the 5/7/15 Entrepreneur Showcase in White River Junction.
