Autism Awareness Day - April 1 at State House!

The Vermont Autism Task Force will host the annual Autism Awareness Day on Wednesday, April 1st at the State House. Come and meet with people on the spectrum plus families, legislators and state officials. The main program, from 4:30 - 6:00 in the cafeteria, features internationally acclaimed author and self-advocate Stephen Shore, PhD, who will present "Unlimited Potential." Other activities during the day include:

11:30 & 3:30 Free Coaching Session, “How To Speak With Your Legislator”, with Kirsten Murphy
2:00 Press Conference, Cedar Creek Room
4:00 Meet and Greet in the cafeteria, including Miss Vermont International, Karly Fereday, whose platform issue is Autism (refreshments provided)
4:00 - 5:00 Meet team Rook and Amanda from New England K-9 Search and Rescue, Cedar Creek Room
