Come to the Essex Junction Senior Center at Five Corners this Saturday at 2:00 PM to hear native Vermonter, P. Brian Machanic present an anecdotal commentary on bird watching. Machanic is a retired ophthalmologist and founder of Nature’s Eye Studio who has published “This Book is for the Birds”, an 82-page coffee-table book featuring photographs of 35 species of birds indigenous to the Eastern U. S. most found in Vermont. Machanic’s photography has received regional and national awards. The presentation is free and open to the public.
