This month marks one year of monthly wildlife monitoring walks at Cota Field in Starksboro! Thanks to all who have come from near and far to join in the fun this past year. Thanks also to the Starksboro Conservation Commission for sponsoring our monitoring walks.

Please join me this Friday, 3/27, at 9am for the March walk. All are welcome as we search the park for winter stragglers and spring newcomers. So far we have documented 105 species! Please wear appropriate footwear as trails are often muddy this time of year.

The April monthly walk will be Saturday 4/25 and will include a "Birder's Breakfast" and additional walks afterwards at some other local hotspots. More information to come. Feel free to email me with and questions or for directions. Hope to see you there!
