Volunteers and Chili Cookoff contestants needed for the Vermont Pumpkin Chuckin Festival, Sept. 29th at the Stoweflake Spa in Stowe. This is a charity event to raise money for the Lamoille Family Center in Morrisville. Kids and adults build trebuchets to throw pumpkins for distance and prizes. There is free music, a mini-olympics, kid events and food and alcohol provided by Stoweflake.

I need volunteers to help with the information desk, traffic, mini-olympics and setup. For volunteering you get a tshirt, free food and of course free entry to the event.

We are also adding a chili Cookoff and so far only have 2 contestants, with a third maybe. We are offering $100 for first prize, $50 for second and $25 for third. Here is the deal, if you are interested, you (and a team of 4) provide 2 gallons of chili. In return you get free entry to the event, free tshirts, chance to schmooze with the celebrity judges, chance to advertise your business (if you have one), and a good chance to win a cash prize.
