The Flying Pig is proud to bring parenting expert Vicki Hoefle *(Duct-Tape Parenting*) back to the bookstore! Join us Monday, April 6th, at 6:30 for a reading, Q&A and signing.
Hoefle's new book, *Straight Talk on Parenting: A No Nonsense Approach to Raising a Grown-up*, is a great companion book to her best-selling *Duct Tape Parenting*, which has fundamentally changed the way many people parent. In her new book, Hoefle makes the bold claim that it’s time for parents to get off the “perfection path” and get back to the real job of parenting: to grow a grown-up. In this no-nonsense guide, Hoefle draws upon twenty-five years of experience helping parents see the big picture and sidestep what she calls the “detail drama” that too often trumps everyday life with our kids.
This event is for anyone interested in learning more about the complex issues of raising a healthy, well-adjusted, happy young adult in this challenging world. Vicki Hoefle wowed our community with her last presentation at the bookstore, and we can’t wait to hear her latest funny, informed insights on parenting.
