There is a great amount of interest in encouraging a healthy, safe biking culture in Lyndon. As you may be aware, the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) is planning a project to improve Route 5 in Lyndon. The purpose of the project is to improve safety, enhance mobility, provide better access to motorists as well as pedestrians and bicyclists and promote the economic development and vitality of the community.

There is going to be an Open Forum on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the Lyndon Public Safety Building at 316 Main St. The Open Forum will begin at 6:00 p.m. and the Formal Public 502 Hearing will be at 6:30 p.m. VTrans is holding this hearing to receive comments and suggestions for changes from interested parties.
