Have you noticed that we have fewer birds?
The birds in our woods, fields and yards are under threat. A perfect storm of changing agricultural practices and shrinking habitats here and in their wintering grounds, combined with rising temperatures, is dramatically reducing their numbers.
Is anyone paying attention?
Professor Allan Strong, a renowned wildlife biologist and ornithologist at UVM, will fill us in on the details and tell us what we can do, even in our own yards.
