It is always such a great treat on a cold winter night - or any night! - to go down to the basement freezer and pull out a chicken for dinner. There will be many half chickens available for $6.50 at the Huntington Chicken BBQ on Sunday, September 8, beginning at noon. It is helpful if you have a freezer container for your chickens.

The full meal ($10 adults, $7.50 salad dinner, $6 child's chicken dinner) begins at 11 am at Brewster-Pierce School and includes many delicious homemade salads, fresh dinner rolls, baked beans, lemonade, pie for dessert - and, in case you have any room left at all, plan to go to the Town Hall for the Ice Cream Social beginning at 1 pm.
