Dear Neighbors,
Are you...wild about Golden-winged Warblers; curious about the impacts of uncollected dog waste left on community streets and hiking trails; interested in trail usage, marking and maintenance; looking for educational opportunities inspired by forests and soils; appreciative of photography featuring nature; pondering the future of small-scale agriculture; or curious about conservation issues in the Little Otter Creek Catchment?
If so, then please join The Watershed Center at its 20th Annual Meeting this Sunday from 3 pm - 5 pm. The meeting will be held at the historic Holley Hall, 1 South Street, Bristol, Vermont 05443.
Special Guest Presenter, Kristen Underwood, of South Mountain R&CS (Bristol, Vermont) will follow the business portion of the meeting with an informative visual presentation entitled "Conserving our Water Commons in the Little Otter Creek: A Guided Field Tour".
The meeting will conclude with a community "mini charette" on conserving the water commons in the Little Otter and the selection of one lucky attendee who will bring home a free quart of maple syrup made from sap sourced from the Waterworks forest.
