On April 6, at 7 pm the Castleton Free Library will host a festive concert. Extra Stout, the Irish band that has performed all over Vermont and here for many, many years, will return to celebrate John Klein’s almost 30 years of service on the library’s Board of Trustees. John has retired and we want to give him a grand send-off. It’s not an official roast but if you have good John stories please bring them. If you don’t know John please come anyway. This has been one of our most popular programs for all the time they’ve been performing here.
