Hinesburg Rec. Dept. will host an AARP Safe Driver class on 4/7 from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm in the first floor conference room at Town Hall. AARP members pay $15 and non-members $20. This refresher course is open to all drivers 50 years and older. The curriculum addresses the normal physical changes brought on by the aging process, how these changes affect driving ability, and offers ways to compensate for those changes. Participants will also learn how to interact with other road users, including truckers, bikes, pedestrians, and distracted drivers.
