Well the calendar says Friday is the first day of Spring (I hope Mother Nature gets the memo!) and that means Green Up Day is almost here. This family friendly event will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. This is a great way to get involved in our community. By working together with our friends and neighbors we can help keep Lincoln beautiful!

I am looking for volunteers to help do roadside cleanup. After cleanup is completed there will be a Volunteer Appreciation Picnic and Raffle. Prizes will also be awarded for some of the great or unusual items you may find along the way. Which road/roads would you like to sign up to do?

Local artists, businesses or crafty townspeople, do you have an item you'd like to donate to the raffle? This is a great way to promote yourself and/or your business. It can be a gift certificate to your business, a gift basket, or something homemade like a quilt or scarf.
