The Lake Champlain Basin Program invites you to celebrate World Water Day with our Champlain Basin Education Initiative partners at Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center in Burlington on Thursday 3/19 from 4:30-6:30 pm. Student work about water resources will be featured. Our speaker will be Rachael Miller from the Rozalia Project.

Rozalia, a Vermont based program, is a leader in cleaning trash and plastics from the New England coastal waters and beyond. The program also completed significant clean-up work in the Lake Champlain watershed after flooding events of 2011. Their educational work with students is fabulous!

Please join us if you can! Light refreshments to be served. Twenty-one classrooms have contributed student work for this event.

For further information please contact the Lake Champlain Basin Program at 372-3213.
