Community Discussion, Potential Uses for Former Town Office Building

Past event
Apr 12, 2015, 2 to 3 PM

The Castleton Historical Society is thrilled to own the Buel Block (the former town office building on Main Street in the village.) Ed Ellis, who maintained historical displays in his 1/3 of the building, donated his portion to the historical sociey in 1960, with the intent that it provide "a permanent home for items of historical interest." We hope to carry out his wishes, but also look to the community at large for suggestions.

On Sunday, April 12th, at 2 PM, we will host a brain-storming session at the Castleton Community Center. Paul Bruhn, executive director of the Preservation Trust of Vermont, will chair the meeting. All local folks are welcome to join us -- bring your ideas!

This is a splendid opportunity for like-minded community members to share ideas and propose solutions that will benefit the Castleton community at large. Let's all come together and decide the best way to use this wonderful community resource!
