The school board will be presenting a budget for the 2015-2016 year. I urge you, especially the parents of students, to come out and represent yourselves. Traditionally parents and teachers are under-represented at our budget meetings. While we have been very blessed to have our budgets pass with the taxpayers who come out, I feel it is essential to hear from those of you with students in the system. Also we are asking that 25% of our surplus funds be transferred into our Capital Project Fund which is currently at zero. Please come out and give us a chance to answer your questions and explain the budget and Article 6.
