Interested in area rivers?? Concerned about water quality?

Addison County Riverwatch Collaborative invites you to volunteer and help collect water quality samples. ACRWC has been monitoring area rivers and streams for nearly 20 years, and we depend on volunteer help. April through September, samples are collected the first Wednesday of the month, from 7-9:30am in the morning. Samples are then sent to the State Lab for processing. If you are intrested and available, please join us! The annual spring training will be Saturday, March 28th, from 9-11am at the offices of the Addison County Regional Planning Commission on Seminary Street in Middlebury. Samplers are encouraged to collect at least 2-3 times during the season. Samples are collected on the Otter Creek, Middlebury River, Lemon Fair, New Haven River, Lewis Creek and Little Otter.
