Hi neighbors, please join the ONE Good Deed fund for a fun event on April 18th!

ONE Spring Fling: An Old North End Community Celebration Join the ONE Good Deed Fund for a celebration of the Old North End and the fund's first anniversary! On April 18th starting at 7:30pm we'll take over North End Studios at 294 N. Winooski Ave in Burlington with live music from the Art Herttua & Stephen Morabito Jazz Duo, food, fun, a raffle, and a photobooth, and raise money for the ONE Good Deed Fund so that we can offer more grants to cover the costs of doing good deeds in the Old North End. We'll also have a postcard making station where all will have the opportunity to decorate a postcard and write a quick note that will be sent to residents throughout the Old North End as local random act of kindness. Tickets are $20 each or 2 for $35 until April 17th, and will be $25 each on the day of the event and at the door. Buy early and get a great deal!

About the ONE Good Deed Fund:The ONE Good Deed Fund is a small community fund in the Old North End that was founded to help cover the costs of doing something nice for someone else. The fund was founded on the belief that small acts of kindness toward others are what build community. Often someone is inspired to help others and yet doesn't have the resources to make it happen, and we want to break down that barrier by offering financial support for goods and services needed to make those good deeds happen. Grants are available of up to $100 and nothing is required except an idea and a short application form. If your request is approved, the fund will pay the vendor (whoever is providing the goods or services you need to do the good deed) directly.
