The Calais/E. Montpelier Historical meeting will be held at the Four-Corner School in E. Montpelier on Monday, March 16 at 7PM. Brief business meetings will be held, followed by presentation, and discussion, of Gilman paintings by David Colburn and Sandal Cate. James Gilman spent a lot of time in East Montpelier and Calais during the 1800's, and his collection of paintings includes several historical sites. That was our theme at the Vt. History Expo in June, and we will share the actual size photographs of some of those paintings we had on display at the Expo. There is a lot more to be said about Mr. Gilman, so join us Monday night to learn more about the man and his paintings.

Note: the change in meeting night to Monday. There will be no potluck at this meeting. We welcome new members, and guests.
