The Vermont Chili Festival is happening THIS SATURDAY in downtown Middlebury from 1:00-4:00pm. We've got over 40 vendors serving up over 50 different kinds of chili to sample, as well as an all-local beverage tent and live music from The Grift. This is a can't miss event in Middlebury, rain or shine! Tickets are still available online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/vermont-chili-festival-tickets-15428385717 and will be sold at the gate for $7/each, children under 8 are free.
Please note: expect some road closures on Saturday for the festival. Main Street and Merchants Row will be closed from 10:30am-5:00pm, from the top of Main Street to the rotary. Cross Street bridge and the rotary will remain open. From 6:00am-9:00pm, the top of Main Street to just before Printer's Alley will be closed, however the access to Marble Works will remain open when Main Street is open (6:00-10:30am and 5:00-9pm) Parking will not be possible on Merchants Row or Main Street during the times the roads are closed.
