West Rutland has challenged and Proctor has accepted the challenge for a yearlong blood drive. Six blood drives will be held at various locations in each town. The town with the most pints donated in that town at the end of the year will awarded a rotating plaque to hang in the town office and will hold bragging rights. Also, lunch is on the line as a friendly wager between the town managers.

Drives scheduled for Proctor thus far are April 20, 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. at St. Domicic’s Church and April 30, 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Proctor High School. For information or to make appointments please contact the Red Cross at redcrossblood.org.
