"Preparing for the Wild Harvest; Getting Primed for Spring" Herbalist and Registered Dietitian Melanie Brotz offers an introductory class on Vermont's abundant Edible and Medicinal wild plants - with a focus on "weeds" and "invasives" that are prime Spring culinary plants and healing herbs. Many of these plants may be growing in your own backyard, in your compost pile, or in your garden bed. Learn about the wonderful, abundant Spring greens, shoots, and roots that are super-nutritious, and free for the taking.
Tuesday, April 14th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Five Sisters Neighborhood in Burlington.
This will be a mostly indoor class designed to help get you ready to maximize your harvest as young plants appear.
