Spring is coming and the fifth Annual Burlington Seed Swap is this Saturday!
Vermont Community Garden Network is hosting the Fifth Annual Burlington Seed Swap from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 14 in the Memorial Auditorium Loft (upstairs from the farmers market), 250 Main St. in Burlington.
The Seed Swap is a fun community event to celebrate the upcoming gardening season, learn from fellow gardeners, and connect with local organizations, including VCGN, Burlington Area Community Gardens / Burlington Parks Recreation & Waterfront, Grow Team ONE and Burlington Permaculture. We invite community members to bring their own non-GMO seeds to share and exchange, and we’ll be well-stocked with a supply of seeds to share and disperse.
Garden author Ron Krupp will have copies of his new book, The Woodchuck Returns to Gardening, to sign and sell and there will also be a used garden book sale to benefit the Community Teaching Garden Scholarship Fund and a seed starting activity for all ages.
