New Discoveries in Abenaki Agriculture - Join Professor Fred Wiseman for a free presentation at the Refuge Visitor's Center Friday night, March 13 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Professor Wiseman will discuss different crop mixes on modern mound systems and how these centuries old systems may inform our modern agricultural practices. This illustrated presentation will include models of cropping systems, displays of 2014 harvest from mound systems as well as music, video and slides.
