If you've wondered how Montpelier's new biomass heating plant works, this is your chance to see it up close. District Heat Montpelier is a joint city/state project which provides local renewable energy to downtown Montpelier. A guided tour will be led by representatives from the state and the city, with time allowed for questions and answers. Meet at 1:30 on Wednesday, Mar. 11 in the basement conference room at 120 State St., the DMV building. FREE to all, including non-members.
